Here at DiBella Law Offices, P.C., we’ve always been advocates for reaching your dreams through higher education.
Christopher DiBella was introduced to the idea of higher education at an early age. Christopher still remembers his father coming home from his work at a construction site with a thick legal textbook for Chris to read. The law was of immediate interest to Christopher, as he knew that it would not only give him the chance to learn, but to help others as well.
Christopher went on from reading those legal textbooks to studying in some of Boston’s finest schools. Beginning his post-secondary education at Suffolk University Sawyer School of Management, Chris received his M.B.A. with high honors. He then went on to Boston University where he graduated with a B.A. cum laude. Finally, Chris went to Suffolk University Law School where he earned his J.D. and made the Dean’s list.
Christopher’s passion for higher education is felt by everyone on the team at DiBella Law Offices, P.C. And it’s why we’re trying to open the doors for even more students who want to better themselves with education.
Our 2018 scholarship is entitled “Writing the Future,” and it’s very simple. Eligible students must write a 600-1,200 word essay about how post-secondary education will help them attain their future goals. We at DiBella Law Offices, P.C., will read all entries and select a winner, who will receive a $500 scholarship towards his or her higher education.
Students can include information on how they plan to use this scholarship money towards their education, along with how the scholarship will help them achieve their goals. Of course, students are always encouraged to include any information about themselves that could help their essay stand out.
Essays and all application materials are due no later than 11:59 p.m. PT on Wednesday, May 16, 2018. To keep the contest as fair as possible, no applications will be accepted after this date and time. A winner will then be chosen and announced on our websites and social media accounts on Tuesday, June 19, 2018.
Who Is Eligible?
Both high school and college students are eligible to apply for the scholarship. High school students must currently be enrolled in the 2017-2018 school year, and must plan on attending an accredited post-secondary institution in 2018-2019.
