Emmaus House Inc Fundraiser
Our “Diaper and Formula Drive” for Emmaus, Inc. was a great success. We got to meet with Denise Arnold, Gifts In-Kind Manager at Emmaus Inc., and see their great operation and internal food bank for residents. They’re doing great work in Haverhill, helping the homeless get back on their feet. We had no idea how large of an operation they are and how many people they are able to help as a result. Special thanks to Boston 25 News, SLS Consulting, and the Merrimack Valley Chamber of Commerce for their donations.
Writing the Future Scholarship
No one should have to go without an education. If that education is in the form of a college or university, DiBella Law Offices, P.C., is glad to help out aspiring students. Our Writing the Future Scholarship was launched in 2017 and we’ve had the very great pleasure to give the following young scholars an award for post-secondary educational expenses.
Our 2022 Winner:
“[Mom] has always told me to keep being me and go to school, so I can get a career and a stable job with enough money to live a comfortable life. I knew that I did not want just to have a regular job that most people have. I wanted to provide my mom and my family with the best that life can offer, and I know that through learning and acquiring knowledge it will be possible.”
– Jose S., 2022 Scholarship Winner
Jose S. shared a story about his mother cleaning houses in affluent neighborhoods and being underpaid for it. His essay demonstrates newfound appreciation for everything that she’s done to provide a better life for him, and it is clear to us at DiBella Law Offices, P.C. that this realization has sparked energy and drive within Jose that will surely propel him toward a future to be proud of. Read his essay.
Our 2021 Winner:
“Living at home with a wheelchair and walker had its own challenges. Living at home with my grandmother as his primary caregiver presented even more.”
– Megan M., 2021 Scholarship Winner
Megan M. reminded us that simple acts of kindness can mean the world to others. Her devotion to helping her grandparents with everyday chores and being a shoulder to lean on perfectly embodies the compassion and strength of spirit DiBella Law Offices, P.C., looks for in our Writing the Future Scholarship. Read her essay.
Our 2020 Winner:
“The solution to cultural problems such as this may be complex, but it always starts with the willingness to raise awareness.”
– Jean-Edward M., 2020 Scholarship Winner
Jean-Edward M. demonstrated amazing fortitude and strength in standing up against racial discrimination and working to raise awareness about stereotyping in his community. It takes great bravery to call out injustice, and we at DiBella Law Offices, P.C., applaud Jean-Edward’s resolve to keep fighting for change with his dream of being a forensic scientist. Read his essay.
Our 2019 winner:
“The teacher moved her next to me while the bullies chattered away. In that moment, I thought: This is my moment to make her feel better.”
– Angelica R., 2019 Scholarship Winner
We at DiBella Law Offices, P.C., love to reach out to those who need it most. That’s why we were so impressed by Angelica R.’s story of befriending a fellow classmate in need of companionship. We were glad to hear the story of their lasting friendship, and know we will see great things from Angelica in the future. Read her essay.
Our 2018 winner:
“Change is not something to be feared. It opens doors to new possibilities.”
– Hodman A., 2018 Scholarship Winner
Hodman A. impressed us with the wisdom she gained from her childhood journey from Somalia to the United States, and we love her commitment to taking her upcoming psychology degree to help those with mental illnesses in Somalia. DiBella Law Offices, P.C., was glad to give $500 to this worthy goal. Read her essay.
Our 2017 winner:
“I take joy in knowing that my presence can have a positive impact on someone.”
– Alexis S., 2017 Scholarship Winner
DiBella Law Offices, P.C., was touched by Alexis S.’s story of tending her mother, who had Stage 2 breast cancer, when she was only 12. We applaud her later decision to become an oncologist and that fact that her mother is now cancer-free! We hope the $500 bought a few pricey medical books. Read her essay.
Car Seat Giveaway (April 2022)
In Spring 2022, DiBella Law Offices gave away a car seat as part of a child safety campaign. When winner of the giveaway Kate Bradbury’s name was selected, we found out that she actually has twin 4-month-old boys, so we surprised the mom of two with a second brand new car seat as well.
Therapy Dogs for Parker Middle School
In the fall of 2021, we donated $5000 dollars to Parker Middle School in Chelmsford, MA to help them fund therapy dogs for the children as part of Boston 25’s “My School Rules” contest. It turns out that instead of just bringing dogs in, they bought their very own community resource dog, not just for their school but for others in the Chelmsford Community, too! Boston 25 Covered the story and we were there this morning as the new resource dog was given a name! Welcome Officer Ozzie.
Boston 25 – “My School Rules” Giveaway
DiBella Law Offices, P.C., partnered with Boston 25 News to give away $5,000 to a local Elementary, Middle, and High School. We strive to honor great schools that help students achieve their best. Congratulations to Grafton Street Elementary, Parker Middle School and Lynn Vocational Tech! Click to learn more.
Toy Drive 2021
We know the last couple of years have been rough on everyone, especially children. So DiBella Law partnered up with the Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence and took donations for kids 7 and up in December of 2021. The toys were distributed by “Santa” which helped bring some cheer during these difficult times.

Our past recipients:
On April 11, 2019, we were happy to help a local Boston family out by providing them with money for rent and food. We worked with Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program to accomplish this.

Michael M. asked for some help purchasing a small refrigerator and some foodstuffs. He got it on April 5, 2019, from Christopher DiBella and staff. Thanks to Pine Street Inn Homeless Shelter for helping us to arrange it!
