My name’s Chris DiBella. I’m a father of three, husband, brother, and I’m an attorney. I became a lawyer because of my father. My father used to tell me stories when I was younger about my grandparents and how they immigrated to the United States with nothing, and the important conditions they used to work in.
My father, growing up, was a construction laborer, and the substantial injuries that he sustained throughout his career taught me what it meant to look out for others. I remember very vividly when I was a young boy, my father bringing home a 400-page tort book—which I had no idea what it was at the time—but I knew that my father wanted me to become a lawyer, because he felt that, as a lawyer, I could have a real, meaningful impact on other people’s lives.
