What are the statute of limitations for a personal injury case in New Hampshire? Again, that’s just the time that you have to bring your case in New Hampshire. It’s also three years for most personal injury cases, not all.

So, you want to make sure you check with an attorney, and that date is going to start from the date of your injury or the accident.

In New Hampshire, you generally have claims against government entities, you’re going to need to file a formal notice within 180 days of your injury, after which you’re going to have three years from that date to file a lawsuit.

New Hampshire also has something called the discovery rule, where some of those cases the clock is not going to start until you discover or should have discovered the injury occurred.

Don’t gamble with these deadlines. Missing it means that you lose your right to bring a claim forever.
