BOSTON, MA—Saturday, January 10, 2026 | DiBella Law proudly sponsored youth hockey night at Agganis Arena, providing more than 100 tickets to underprivileged youth hockey players and their families for the Boston University vs. UMass men’s hockey game. For many of the Cambridge Youth Hockey Falcons, this wasn’t just a night out it was an opportunity they otherwise wouldn’t have had.
The kids had an incredible experience from start to finish. They toured the locker room, stepped onto the ice bench, and had photos taken along with a short video right where BU’s players compete. Smiles were everywhere. Energy was high.
This experience was made possible with the support of Boston University Men’s Hockey and, of course, Agganis Arena.
Before the puck dropped, our team at DiBella Law received a message from the youth team’s coach that captured the night’s impact.
“Chris… this is no small gesture. In my three years as the Mite Coordinator and Head Coach for CYH… (I have 8.5 year old AAA twin boys); and in my same role with Allston-Brighton the first go-around (I have a 16 year old AAA Elite daughter at Austin Prep) … this is the largest and most generous group ticket gift ANYONE has ever underwritten for my program. Just…wow.
I do this for the kids and families, in order to show MY kids the best they can be…and I know you get it. It’s a volunteer role. Between being on-ice or in the box, the admin, the events, the special-needs… it’s easily 20+ hours weekly Sept through April. The true successes and victories are private and I celebrate alone with myself when I inventory the smiles. But something like this? Well I have nearly 100 of my hockey family members (and my own little family) looking at me like I’m some sort of Pied Piper magician!” – Chris Edelman, Youth Hockey Coach
That’s why we do this. DiBella Law believes in community impact so that kids feel seen, families feel included, and memories are made that last far longer than the final score.
