Child Playing on School Playground Gets Injured from Improperly Installed Playground Equipment
The plaintiff was attending school and was outside playing on a newly installed playground. They were playing on
the new structure when their foot was crushed and they were in immediate pain. They were taken to an Urgent
Care, where they were placed in walking boots and given crutches.
The plaintiff, through their attorney, obtained an engineer to review the playground structure and installation
inspections finding that it was installed incorrectly. As a result of the accident, the plaintiff had to miss
time from school activities.
