What Actually Happens in My Case?

All right, here’s your road map. First, we investigate: gathering evidence, talking to witnesses, getting all of your medical stuff together. Then, we send a demand letter to the insurance company, saying here’s what happened, here’s what our client needs. They’ll probably make a lowball offer. We’ll negotiate back and forth. If they won’t be reasonable, we file a lawsuit. Then there’s discovery, where both sides exchange information. Most cases settle during this phase. If not, we go to trial, but again, that’s rare.
