So, in Massachusetts, wrongful death must have been a preventable death. It must have been caused by somebody’s actions or inactions that have resulted in the death of a person. That can be through a car accident. It can be through medical malpractice. It can be through a fall. But, what we look for is who’s responsible.

And that could be a singular party, or it could be a number of parties. But the most important thing is this is a death that could have or should have been preventable.
